Constanze Klasen is a strategy consultant and senior advisor for more than 10 years. Previously, she was Head of Marketing Cooperation with GEMA. As the Managing Director of a marketing agency, she also supported large corporates in the financial sector and the automotive industry on marketing and communication strategies being responsible for strategic projects in Europe and the Americas. She also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Hamburg Child Cancer Foundation.
Constanze Klasen studied Law and Marketing at Leibniz University of Hannover (Germany) and the University of Leicester (UK).
Prof. Dr. Andreas Klasen
Dr Andreas Klasen is a Partner with TradeRx. He is full Professor of International Business and Head of the Institute for Trade and Innovation (IfTI) at Offenburg University. He is also Visiting Professor at Northumbria University (UK) and Honorary Fellow in the School of Government & International Affairs at Durham University (UK). He advises governments, innovation funds, developments banks, ECAs and non-profit organisations on analytics, strategy and organisational design.
Until 2015, Professor Andreas Klasen was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Germany and PwC’s Economics & Policy leader, serving as Managing Director of the official German export credit and investment guarantee agency. Before joining PwC, he was Head of Guarantees and Export Finance with EADS (Airbus Group). Until 2014, Professor Klasen served as the Vice President of the Berne Union.
Dr Andreas Klasen was educated at the University of Würzburg and Leibniz University of Hannover (Law), Northumbria University (Business and Law), and the University of St. Andrews (Theology). He holds Masters degrees and a Doctorate in these subjects.
Dr. Simone Krummaker
Dr Simone Krummaker is a Senior Associate with TradeRx. Her consulting work focuses, in particular, on strategy and implementation of risk management frameworks in the financial sector. She is a Senior Lecturer in Insurance at The Business School (formerly Cass) at City, University of London, where she is also the Course Director of the MSc in Insurance and Risk Management. Furthermore, Simone is an Associate at the House of Insurance at the Leibniz University of Hannover (Germany).
Previously, she worked as Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Westminster, at the University of East Anglia London and as Senior Researcher at the Center for Risk and Insurance and Associate Lecturer at the Institute for Insurance Economics, both at Leibniz University of Hannover.
Dr Simone Krummaker holds a doctoral degree (Dr. rer. pol.) and a high level German University degree (Diplom Ökonom) from Leibniz University of Hannover. She also has worked for more than 10 year in the insurance industry and is a certified insurance professional (Versicherungskauffrau, Chamber of Industry and Commerce).
Dr. Chris Jeffs
Dr Chris Jeffs is a Senior Associate with TradeRx. He is a strategy consultant facilitating analytical thinking in the fields of policy, strategic management, innovation and design thinking. He advises governments, innovation funds, export credit agencies and corporates on analytics, strategy, and operations & change.
Dr Chris Jeffs was an associated Strategy Expert at the Institute of Management Development (IMD, Switzerland), served as an Associate Professor in Strategic & Innovation Management at Grenoble Ecole de Management and sat on the Advisory & Decision Committee of the UAE Innovation Fund. Before, Dr Chris Jeffs was Northumbria University’s MBA programme leader.
Dr Chris Jeffs was educated at NESCOT (BSc (Hons) Biochemistry), Sunderland University (MBA) and Northumbria University (DBA). He also holds a PG Cert in Executive Coaching and Mentoring from the Institute of Leadership and Management
Jan Vassard is a Senior Associate with TradeRx. He is a strategy and operations consultant advising governments, development banks, export-import banks and export credit agencies on analytics, strategy and operations & change.
Jan Vassard has more than 35 years of experience from service in government agencies and public companies - dealing with policy making, public-private partnerships, strategic management, international relations and economic research. Until 2021, Jan was the Deputy CEO of EKF Denmark’s Export Credit Agency (EKF). Jan was one of the driving forces behind the establishment of EKF as an independent public company in 2000. His responsibilities at EKF included overall responsibility for international relations, policy development, ESG, credit risk assessment as well as country, bank and sector risk analysis. In addition Jan has been an active participant and elected official in various international export credit fora, including the Berne Union.
Jan Vassard was educated at the University of Sussex (MA International Economic Relations), Aarhus University (MSc (Cand. Scient. Pol.)) and Harvard Business School (Executive Course).
Dr. Hans Janus
Dr Hans Janus is a Senior Associate with TradeRx. Having been the CEO of Germany’s ECA Euler Hermes for more than 20 years and having served as President of Berne Union, the International Union of Export Credit and Investment Insurers, he has a vast experience in export finance and trade credit insurance. After retirement at Euler Hermes (2014), Hans Janus has supported numerous governments, banks and ECAs with strategy and legal consulting.
He works as a consultant for financial institutions and governments, mainly in the areas of international finance, export promotion and commercial law development. Being a Supervisory Board Member of mid-sized, export-oriented corporates (Germany, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry) and a former Supervisory Board Member of a large international bank, Dr Hans Janus is permanently involved in global export finance activities.
Dr Hans Janus studied Law and Russian language at the universities of Bochum and Hamburg. He was also an exchange researcher at the legal faculty of Moscow Lomonossov State University. In addition to his 1st and 2nd Legal State Exam, he holds a doctoral degree in law.
